Citigroup Boosts Bitcoin Price Target to $113,000 on ETF Inflows
Citigroup (C.US) has significantly increased its 12-month price target for Bitcoin to $113,000, citing a bullish outlook on capital inflows into ETFs such as IBIT (IBIT.US).
The bank's forecast for Bitcoin's price has been raised from $82,000 to $113,000, which implies an upside potential of roughly 35% based on current prices.
Citigroup attributes the improving macro environment and strengthening institutional sentiment towards crypto assets as factors contributing to its bullish outlook.
According to Woofun AI, the bank expects ETFs to attract $5 billion in inflows over the next 12 months, driven primarily by investment advisors and brokerage firms increasing their holdings.
Policy uncertainty has not entirely dampened market resilience, with the U.S. Treasury's repurchase of long-term bonds providing support to the market and helping it shake off its underperformance relative to other risk assets.
