Clarity Act Odds Surge as Procedural Vote Looms
The Clarity Act, a bill that would provide regulatory clarity for the crypto ecosystem, has seen its odds of passage spike after lawmakers unveiled a new version of the bill on Monday.
Odds for passage by January 1, 2027 have jumped to 28%, according to Kalshi traders, with even longer-dated markets showing higher optimism, at 45% and 49% respectively.
The updated bill text includes language on ethics enforcement, protections for developers, and clarifications on consumer protections, which Wyoming Senator Cynthia Lummis called 'truly bipartisan' in a statement.
