Clarity Act Passage Could Unlock Hundreds of Thousands of US Jobs
Ripple's chief legal officer, Stuart Alderoty, has linked the passage of the CLARITY Act to potential job creation and broader economic growth in the United States.
The National Cryptocurrency Association (NCA) published a report examining crypto's contribution to the U.S. labor market, which estimates that the sector supports 232,000 jobs across the country in 2026.
Of those, around 34,000 are direct positions at crypto companies like Ripple and Coinbase, while another 75,000 jobs are supported by suppliers and contractors serving the industry.
The report also notes that the sector contributes more than $55 billion to the U.S. economy and generates approximately $31 billion in worker income.
