Claver Sparks Controversy with New XRP Accumulation Claims

Jake Claver, CEO of Digital Ascension Group and crypto commentator, has sparked controversy in the XRP community with his latest statement.

He claims that 'major institutions are accumulating XRP without saying much about it publicly.'

Claver also stated that if XRP becomes 'core infrastructure for international finance,' the current price will be insignificant in hindsight.

However, Claver's credibility on XRP has been contested due to his past predictions. In 2025, he predicted XRP would reach $100 by year-end but closed at around $1.87, making his target roughly 98% off.

Despite missing that call, Claver defended his position, arguing that timelines are often extended and pointed to Ripple's history as evidence of large financial systems taking time to build.
