CleanCore Abandons Meme-Coin Treasury for $100M AI Infrastructure Pivot
CleanCore has announced plans to sell its Dogecoin treasury holdings as part of a broader $100 million funding plan, which includes issuing 275.8 million shares to raise capital. The Nasdaq-listed company revealed in an SEC registration statement dated August 20 that it is shifting its focus towards AI infrastructure after making a strategic decision.
The move will create significant dilution risk for shareholders, with common shares outstanding increasing by 121.9% to 502.1 million. Additionally, warrants could add another 524.2 million shares, further increasing the potential for dilution.
While this may raise concerns about the future of Dogecoin as a meme-coin treasury strategy, it's essential to note that CleanCore's decision does not prove the asset lacks community support or market relevance.
