CleanSpark Issues $2.3B Debt to Fund High-Performance Compute Pivot
CleanSpark Inc. (NASDAQ:CLSK) is shifting its focus from cryptocurrency mining to high-performance compute hosting, leveraging power-heavy infrastructure into predictable, long-duration lease streams.
The company recently priced $2.276 billion in 7.875% senior secured notes due 2031 at 98.5% of face value to fund the construction of its Sandersville Facility and reimburse equity previously deployed into the site.
Backed by first-priority liens on Sandersville assets, this financing supports CleanSpark's transition from a volatile cryptocurrency miner into an institutional-grade infrastructure provider with contracted revenue streams.
