CleanSpark Secures $2.276 Billion for Data-Center Expansion
CleanSpark has raised $2.276 billion in secured notes to fund its data-center infrastructure development, including the Sandersville campus in Georgia.
The company priced senior secured notes due 2031 with a 7.875% coupon, which will help finance the development of infrastructure capable of serving both Bitcoin mining and higher-performance compute workloads.
This move is significant for CleanSpark as it shifts its focus from being primarily a Bitcoin miner to a hybrid entity that combines mining, power development, and data-center operation.
