Coinbase Agents Platform Now Supports US Stock Trading

Coinbase has expanded its platform for agents to support trading in U.S. stocks and ETFs, in addition to existing crypto and derivatives capabilities.

The integration provides access to thousands of U.S. equities, ETF instruments, 24/5 trading, fractional shares, and zero-commission execution via Coinbase Capital Markets Corp. and Apex Fintech Solutions.

Coinbase also embedded the x402 protocol for on-demand micropayments, allowing agents to purchase data or research per transaction rather than by subscription.
