Coinbase continues to expand its role as digital-asset infrastructure for banks through various partnerships. By June 2025, the company had partnered with over 200 banks, brokers, fintechs, and payment firms globally.

The partnerships cover a range of services including Bitcoin access, funding rails, custody, trading, and stablecoin payments. For example, PNC Bank expanded its partnership with Coinbase in December 2025 to give eligible PNC Private Bank clients direct access to buying, selling, and custodian services for BTC.

Coinbase has also partnered with Stablecore and Moov in September 2026. The Stablecore integration allows for custody, trading, and stablecoin payments through banking platforms, potentially reaching over 3,000 U.S. banks and credit unions. Meanwhile, Moov's payment infrastructure could reach more than 1,000 community banks and credit unions.
