Coinbase CEO Sees Bitcoin Price Soar to $400k by 2030
Brian Armstrong, CEO of Coinbase exchange, has made another bullish long-term prediction for Bitcoin. He expects the digital asset to reach $400,000 by 2030, a figure that's four times higher than his initial projection in January. According to Armstrong, several factors will contribute to this growth, including the evolving regulatory landscape, institutional adoption, and macro debasement.
The CEO noted that despite the outcome of the CLARITY Act, which is scheduled for a vote this week, he remains confident that clearer rules are coming for the US crypto market. He believes that even if the act fails to gain approval, the CFTC and SEC will continue shaping crypto rules.
Armstrong pointed out that institutional confidence in the crypto market has evolved substantially in recent years, driven by supportive regulations. He expects this trend to continue over the next four years, with companies buying Bitcoin at a remarkable rate. Currently, spot ETFs are purchasing BTC at 20 times higher than daily mining, revealing strong demand.
