Coinbase Cuts Trading Fees for Active Traders on Advanced Platform

Share

Coinbase is lowering trading fees for active traders on its Advanced platform. The change affects many global clients, with substantially lower rates on spot trading and consolidated fee tiers across Spot & Derivatives in eligible jurisdictions.

The new fee structure includes reduced entry-level tiers, starting at $10,000 in qualifying volume, down from $25,000. This allows traders to achieve lower fees sooner. The rates vary by market, with the following spot entry level tiers:

US: 0.50% maker & 0.90% taker

EU and UK: 0.25% maker & 0.50% taker

Brazil, India, and other international markets: 0.09% maker & 0.10% taker

The update complements Coinbase's already market-leading pricing and liquidity with spot crypto trading as low as 0bps/2bps for VIP8 clients.
