Coinbase Delists Six Trading Pairs to Improve Market Health
Coinbase has announced that it will delist six trading pairs in an effort to improve market health and concentrate liquidity. The exchange stated that it will cease trading on these pairs on August 6, 2024. However, Coinbase assured users that the assets themselves will continue to be supported.
The affected trading pairs are LSETH-ETH, MINA-EUR, GRT-GBP, MASK-GBP, CHZ-USDT, and CRO-USDT. As of now, these pairs have been switched to 'limit order only' mode on the Coinbase Exchange and Advanced platforms. This means that users can place limit orders, but market orders are no longer available.
Coinbase Markets made this announcement without providing further details on the reasons behind the delisting. The exchange has not commented on whether this decision will impact its overall trading volume or revenue.
