Coinbase Expands Platform with IPO Access, AI Trading, and Prediction Markets

Coinbase has rolled out several new features for its U.S. users, marking a significant expansion of its platform.

The updates include the ability to request initial public offering (IPO) shares directly within the Coinbase app, giving users access to primary equity markets.

The introduction of Grok, an AI-driven trading agent, also allows for automated trading activity.

Users can now also access prediction markets through Coinbase Wallet and borrow against HYPE and ZEC collateral using wrapped tokens on the Base network.

Additionally, global trading fees on Coinbase Advanced have been lowered and simplified, with changes to fee structures benefiting USDC holders and Coinbase One members.
