Coinbase Launches Prediction Market for SEA Seahawks vs ARI Cardinals

Coinbase has introduced a new prediction market for users to trade on future events. The latest contract is SEA Seahawks vs ARI Cardinals, which will close and expire when an outcome occurs or by September 20, 2026. The total value of the contract is $11 million with over $6.6 million in interest.

The trading prohibitions for this contract include current players, coaches, and staff of the league, association, or organization governing the event. Paid employees of the league and league participants, owners of teams and the league, and household members and immediate family are also prohibited from trading.

Prediction markets on Coinbase allow users to trade contracts on future events with a fee applied to each trade. The price reflects the market's odds, with $0.65 meaning a 65% chance of an event happening. Users can buy 'Yes' if they think it will happen or 'No' if it won't.
