Coinbase Partners with Stablecore for Community Bank Digital Asset Services

Share

Coinbase is partnering with Stablecore to bring digital asset services to community banks and credit unions, expanding access to tokenized securities, stablecoins, and other assets.

The partnership will support over 3,000 institutions in growing their services by updating platforms. According to Alex Treece, co-founder and CEO of Stablecore, banks and credit unions don't need to migrate to a new platform to stay up-to-date. The Stablecore platform can provide digital asset services by working with Coinbase.

Coinbase will provide the infrastructure for regulated digital asset services, including custody and exchanges. Stablecore will manage integrations and enable digital asset services as part of their core banking product.
