Coinbase-Powered DeFi Media Payment Platform Goes Live
Roundtable's AI-powered DeFi media payment platform is now live and integrated with Coinbase. The platform settles advertising payments in real-time using USDC, a stablecoin issued by Coinbase.
The platform was developed by Roundtable (Nasdaq: RTB) in collaboration with Coinbase and is designed to empower decentralized, independent journalism. It combines Coinbase's USDC payment infrastructure with Roundtable's enterprise-level Web3 mediaOS and AI-driven smart wallet system.
The platform eliminates the need for human intermediaries, giving publishers and journalists full autonomy, transparency, and control over their intellectual property (IP). They are now rewarded in real-time while creating and connecting with their audience.
Roundtable recently announced a 10-year contract to migrate 21 major media brands, hundreds of journalists, and nearly 100 million viewers consuming $100 million in advertising from a Web1 platform to Roundtable's Web3 AI-driven Media OS and DeFi payment platform. This will result in 'net-zero' on the new platform.
RTB shares are now trading on Coinbase as of today's opening. The migration is expected to benefit independent journalists, who will be fairly rewarded for their value created in real-time using USDC.
