Coinbase President Sees Bitcoin Hitting $300K by 2030

Coinbase President Anthony Bassili has shared his long-term outlook for Bitcoin (BTC), predicting that the cryptocurrency will surpass $300,000 by 2030. While he anticipates continued growth, Bassili noted that achieving the same high returns seen in past cycles may become more challenging as Bitcoin’s market capitalization expands.

Despite this, Bassili remains optimistic about Bitcoin’s long-term potential. He highlighted the narrowing gap between Bitcoin’s market capitalization and the total value of gold as a key long-term goal, though he does not expect this convergence to happen quickly. The comparison between Bitcoin and gold as stores of value was also discussed, emphasizing their differences in market size, history, and investor base.
