Coinbase Stock Price Plunges Despite Armstrong's Visionary Push

Share

Coinbase Global Inc., the parent company of the popular cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, saw its stock price decline by $3.91 or 2.06% in the last session to close at $186.11.

The decrease comes despite a positive message from CEO Brian Armstrong about Coinbase's vision for super intelligence and its ambition to offer a comprehensive platform for trading, payments, lending, and more.

According to technical analysis, the stock is expected to fluctuate between $181 and $194 in the coming week, with a low probability of a price breakout above current levels. Armstrong's statement highlighted Coinbase's push toward innovation and new use cases, which can drive future adoption and revenue for the platform.

The mixed indicators skew risk lower, indicating near-term support around $185 and medium- to long-term uptrend structure still intact. Key support is at $185 and the Ichimoku Kijun ($184.64), with resistance at $186.54 and the psychological $190 level.
