Coinbase Unveils 'Everything Exchange' in UK with Stocks, Stablecoins, and More

Coinbase has launched its 'Everything Exchange' strategy in the UK, offering users access to nearly 4,000 U.S. stocks with no commissions and a minimum investment of £1.

The platform allows trading 24 hours a day, five days a week, and funding can be done instantly in sterling or USDC. The company has obtained a MiFID license, which enables it to offer derivatives to professional traders and equities to retail investors.

Coinbase's Regional Managing Director for the UK and Europe, Keith Grose, stated that the company is accelerating its 'Everything Exchange' strategy in the UK, aiming to unify access to stocks, stablecoins, savings accounts, and credit products backed by crypto assets within a single platform.

Grose noted that the company has built a space where users can seamlessly access various financial services from one platform. He also mentioned that new products will be launched in the UK and European Union over the coming months.
