Coldcard users are facing an urgent seed migration warning after a series of attacks drained over $88.6 million from their wallets.

Mishaboar, a Dogecoin community contributor, urged users to move their Bitcoin to new wallets controlled by newly generated seed phrases on August 1.

The warning comes after Galaxy Research estimated that three suspected attack waves had drained 1,367.05 BTC from 4,585 addresses, with the average balance falling to slightly more than 0.1 BTC per address.

CoinKite has released fixed firmware for affected models and release tracks, but it cannot repair existing seeds or add randomness to a seed phrase created earlier.
