Columbia Banking System Inc.'s (COLB) shares fell 0.71% to $32.11 as the bank expanded its Utah presence with a new Draper branch.

The 14,000-square-foot facility in Minuteman Office Plaza serves both commercial and retail banking needs, including consumer banking, commercial lending, real estate financing, healthcare banking, home builder finance, treasury management, wealth management, and commercial card services.

This is the first of three new branches planned for Utah in 2026, with locations also set to open in Pleasant Grove and Sugar House. The expansion aims to strengthen Columbia's presence in the Salt Lake City market.
