Cosmos Labs has advised Cosmos EVM chains to halt validators due to an ongoing security incident. The firm stated that users of the Cosmos EVM module have been impacted, but did not disclose the specific vulnerability or affected chains.

The advisory follows a series of halts across chains sharing the Cosmos EVM codebase, including MANTRA, KiiChain, and TAC. These networks halted after detecting malicious activity attributed to the shared Cosmos EVM module.

Cosmos Labs has not named the vulnerability or quantified any losses, but stated that it would publish an incident report once the situation is resolved.
