Cramer Sells Bitcoin Amid Quantum Computing Concerns

CNBC host and crypto critic Jim Cramer has announced he's selling his Bitcoin due to concerns about quantum computing threats. He cited an interview with IBM CEO Arvind Krishna, who warned that by three or four years, people should be 'paranoid' about the impact of quantum computers on cryptography.

Cramer didn't wait for those years to pass and has decided to sell his Bitcoin, which he believes will be particularly vulnerable. He also expressed concerns about Ethereum, calling it 'maybe even worse.'

This decision is not surprising to traders who have been tracking the 'Inverse Cramer' pattern, where investors bet against his picks. In 2023, a fund was launched specifically to take advantage of this trend.
