Crypto Billionaires Donate £72 Million to Nigel Farage's Party

Reform UK, led by Nigel Farage, has received a major boost after cryptocurrency billionaire Christopher Harborne donated £36 million to the party. This donation matches the record-breaking gift made by fellow crypto investor Ben Delo just a day earlier.

Harborne, who is Reform's largest donor, announced his gift in an article for The Daily Telegraph. He stated that it was 'a philanthropic gift to our country' intended to help Reform prepare for government. Harborne also revealed that he had been donating £1 million per month to the party.

The twin donations come as the UK government is considering introducing a cap on overseas donations and a suspension of funding through cryptocurrency. The proposed legislation has yet to be passed by the House of Lords, but if it becomes law, it could significantly impact Reform's finances.
