Crypto Cards Hit Record $12.5 Billion in Payments
Crypto cards have reached a new milestone, processing a record $12.5 billion in payments. This marks a 140% year-to-date increase and a 247% surge from October 2025 levels. The growth has been driven by the adoption of stablecoins as a payment rail and the increasing demand for efficient cross-border transactions.
One of the key contributors to this growth is Jupiter Spend, a major onchain card provider. The platform saw a 55% quarter-over-quarter increase in activated cards, largely due to the popularity of QR-code payments. This innovative feature has made crypto cards more accessible and user-friendly.
The surge in crypto card usage highlights the growing integration of digital assets into everyday financial activities. As stablecoins continue to gain traction, they are becoming a preferred choice for seamless and cost-effective transactions. This trend is expected to continue as more users and businesses adopt crypto payment solutions.
