Crypto.com Cleared for US Single-Stock Futures Launch

Share

Crypto.com is pushing deeper into U.S. stock trading by offering single-stock futures in the country. The company's CEO, Kris Marszalek, announced that they have received approval from the SEC to launch these products through OG.com.

The SEC filing, dated September 16, registers North American Derivatives Exchange (Nadex) as a national securities exchange for security futures products. This move allows Crypto.com to prepare its single-stock futures offerings, which will allow traders to gain exposure to individual company shares without buying the underlying stocks.

Crypto.com is also planning to offer single-stock perpetual futures, which do not have a fixed expiration date. The company has not announced which specific stocks it will include or when trading will begin. OG.com operates as a standalone prediction market platform under CFTC oversight.
