Crypto ETFs Shatter Record with $433M in Bitcoin Inflows
Despite a tough year for crypto, marked by Middle Eastern tensions, increasing oil prices, Fed rate hikes, and the CLARITY Act setback, 2026's ETFs have seen record-breaking flows. According to SoSo Value data, crypto ETF inflows across different digital assets saw an uptick over the last 24 hours.
Bitcoin led by a wide margin with $433.03 million in inflows, followed closely by Ethereum at $143.80 million and Solana at $47.62 million. Zcash's recently launched Spot ETF has attracted significant investor interest in a very short period, recording stronger inflows than many other altcoin ETFs.
Grayscale's Spot $ZEC ETF is a notable example of this trend, having been launched less than a month ago and already seeing strong inflows. In contrast, Hyperliquid and Chainlink recorded smaller inflows of $1.03 million and $2.19 million, respectively.
The only asset with outflows was XRP, which saw around $43.70K in outflows during the period. Bloomberg's Senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas commented on this surge in inflows, saying that ETFs have now surpassed last year's record flows of $1.5T with 3.5 months to spare.
Balchunas also noted that this growth is a significant shift from when he started covering ETFs, stating that around 20 years ago, $100 billion in annual flows was considered a strong year. Today, ETFs are attracting more than $100 billion every month, equivalent to roughly $8.5 billion in flows per trading day.
