Crypto Heist Gang Forces Couple to Transfer £100,000 in Cryptocurrency

Share

A shocking cryptocurrency heist has left a young couple shaken after a gang of masked men forced them to transfer hundreds of thousands of pounds in cryptocurrency.

The victims, who are expecting their third child, were attacked in their home in Smith's Wood, Solihull, on December 13, 2025, at around 5:20 pm.

The men, who were armed with a hammer, forced their way into the property after the couple opened their front door to find three men stepping out of a car parked nearby.

The gang demanded that the couple transfer cryptocurrency, with instructions relayed by a fourth offender on a video call, in what police believe may have been a planned and targeted attack.

Crimestoppers put up a £10,000 reward in September for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
