Crypto-Linked Stocks Surge as Bitcoin Hits Four-Day High
The cryptocurrency market has seen a surge in US-listed shares of companies related to crypto and blockchain, as Bitcoin and Ethereum continue their upward trend.
Bitcoin, the world's largest cryptocurrency, rose by 2.1% to $86,376.5, marking its fourth consecutive day of gains. Ether also gained 1.9%, reaching a price of $2,749.3.
Crypto exchange Coinbase Global led the charge with a 2.9% increase, followed closely by bitcoin bull Strategy at 3.1%. Trading platform Robinhood Markets and Webull also saw gains of 1.8% and 1.2%, respectively.
Crypto miners such as Riot Platforms, Mara Holdings, and Bit Digital saw significant increases of 2.2%, 2.7%, and 3%, respectively. American Bitcoin, backed by the two eldest sons of President Donald Trump, surged by 3.3%.
