Crypto Liquidations Surge to $582 Million in 24 Hours

Crypto liquidations reached an unprecedented $582 million in just 24 hours, marking a significant milestone for the market. According to recent data, long positions accounted for $328 million of this total, while short positions made up $254 million.

Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) were particularly affected, with BTC long liquidations reaching $75.9 million and short liquidations totaling $130 million. Meanwhile, ETH saw $71.1 million in long liquidations and $57.7 million in short liquidations.

The largest single liquidation occurred on Binance, where a trader lost $11.7 million in the BTCUSDT market.
