Crypto Market Gains 2% as Solana Hits $120 and XRP Surges
The cryptocurrency market has shown signs of recovery after gaining about 2% over the past 24 hours, bringing total market capitalization back in sight of $3 trillion.
Solana's price rallied to touch $120 for the first time in eight months, while Ripple's XRP led gains among the top 10 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization on Friday morning. XRP's price rallied by as much as 5.4% in the last 24 hours to around $1.50.
Crypto analyst Ted Pillows said Bitcoin needs to reclaim $85,300 to establish a stronger uptrend. Meanwhile, recent spot Bitcoin ETF flows have provided another source of support for the broader crypto market, recording six consecutive days of inflows and turning positive for 2026. At one point in July, these ETFs were down $5.8 billion in net outflows for the year.
However, at $800 million, net inflows for the year remain significantly smaller than the $35.2 billion in 2024 and the $21.4 billion in 2025. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) recorded a $162.63 million net inflow on Thursday, according to SoSoValue data.
