Crypto Market May Have Hit Bottom in July, Variant Fund Partner Says

Variant Fund partner Alana Levin believes the crypto market has likely reached a low point, citing the early July prices of Bitcoin (BTC) at $59,000, Ether (ETH) at $1,600, and ZEC at $420 as evidence.

Levin frames the next question as whether the market's recent move marks a sustained bull run or a false start.

She expects capital to flow toward two types of protocols: those viewed as monetary stores of value and those that generate revenue.

For revenue-generating protocols, Levin suggests investors consider whether income comes from crypto-native activity, traditional-finance activity, and whether revenue persists during market downturns.
