The crypto market took a hit today, with Bitcoin dropping to $84,242.05, down 2.1% over 24 hours.

The broader market, including stocks and precious metals, also saw significant losses, with the total crypto market cap remaining near $3.01 trillion.

The selloff was triggered by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian's speech at the UN General Assembly, where he pushed back against US accusations of terrorism and warned that Iran would not 'bow its head' to pressure.

The US delegation reportedly walked out during the speech, leading markets to fear a prolonged US-Iran conflict and sparking a sharp selloff across stocks, metals, and crypto.
