Crypto Market Rebounds in September, Led by Bitcoin and Strategy Inc.
The crypto market rebounded in September, with Bitcoin surging 5.4% from $74,900 to $87,100, lifting its market capitalization to $1.70 trillion.
This recovery pulled most crypto-linked equities higher, led by Strategy Inc. (MSTR), which delivered a 30% gain.
Bitcoin's and Ethereum's price movements were largely driven by renewed risk appetite, institutional flows, and strong spot Bitcoin ETF demand, which fueled a near-record single day of $999 million on September 21.
Mara Holdings (MARA), Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR), and American Bitcoin Corp (ABTC) also showed positive performance, reflecting renewed risk appetite and institutional flows.
However, not all crypto-adjacent businesses benefited equally from the rebound, with Circle Internet Group (CRCL) declining 8.3% due to slower-than-expected growth in USDC circulation and intensifying competition among dollar-pegged stablecoins.
