Crypto Market Sees Significant Developments with Bitcoin ETF Inflows and Tether Freeze
The crypto market saw significant developments as Bitcoin spot ETFs recorded net inflows of $31.07 million, while Tether helped freeze around $550 million in USDT linked to Iran wallets for the US government.
BlackRock's IBIT led the Bitcoin spot ETFs with a daily net inflow of $54.84 million, and the total historical net inflow of IBIT currently stands at $65.34 billion. Grayscale's Bitcoin spot ETF BTC had a daily net inflow of $10.32 million, while GBTC recorded a daily net outflow of $23.19 million.
Tether said its cooperation with US law enforcement helped freeze approximately $550 million in USDT held in Iran-linked wallets. The company stated that the freezes targeted addresses connected to the Central Bank of Iran and its sanctions networks.
Hedera's HBAR price surged by around 25% in a day, reaching its highest level since early January at around $0.13. The rally coincided with an IBM-Hashgraph Group initiative involving Hedera-based digital identity infrastructure for AI agents.
