Crypto Market Sees Surge in Midnight, Dogecoin, and Worldcoin Prices
The crypto market has been experiencing a surge in recent weeks, largely due to the weak nonfarm payrolls (NFP) data, which lowered the possibility of the Federal Reserve hiking rates. Bitcoin and most altcoins have seen significant gains, with the market capitalization of all tokens approaching $3 trillion.
Among the top gainers is Midnight (NIGHT), a token launched by Cardano last year. Despite being a ghost chain with no major decentralized applications in its network, NIGHT has seen a 217% surge in price, pushing its market capitalization to over $821 million.
The rally can be attributed to the ongoing demand for privacy tokens and technical analysis suggesting that the upward trend is accelerating. However, there are concerns that the token may have become highly overbought, with the Relative Strength Index (RSI) soaring to 88. This could lead to a retreat in price to the psychological level of $0.20.
Dogecoin (DOGE) has also rebounded in recent weeks, moving from a low of $0.067 in August to its current price of $0.1056. The strength of the crypto industry and spot DOGE ETFs adding just $3.6 million in assets have contributed to this increase.
Worldcoin (WLD) has crawled back in recent months, driven by the crypto market rebound and the growing popularity of AI agents, particularly with the introduction of Meta Platforms' Muse product. The daily chart shows that WLD token has done well, moving from a low of $0.2930 to its current price of $0.5623.
