Crypto Market Surges by Over $130B in 30 Days Without Clear Catalyst
The cryptocurrency market has seen a significant surge in value over the past 30 days, adding over $130 billion to its total market capitalization. This growth has been steady and persistent, with no major regulatory shifts or corporate announcements driving it.
Bitcoin's market cap rose from approximately $1.274 trillion on July 5 to around $1.33 trillion by July 24, a gain of roughly $56 billion in less than three weeks. Ethereum also saw significant growth, with its market cap increasing from about $215 billion to approximately $233 billion over the same period.
The altcoin universe, excluding Bitcoin and Ethereum, accounted for a combined market value of $666.58 billion at the start of July. With total market capitalization adding over $130 billion in 30 days, it's clear that alts participated in the rally as well.
This steady growth is notable because there were no major catalysts driving it. No corporate announcements or regulatory shifts, just a persistent flow of capital into the market.
