Crypto Markets Close Mixed Amidst Stronger Performance from BNB

Crypto markets closed Wednesday evening with mixed results, as the month of September drew to a close. The top two assets, Bitcoin and Ethereum, saw modest gains, with Bitcoin increasing by 0.08% to $83,695.80 and Ethereum rising by 0.23% to $2,682.86.

Binance Coin (BNB) was the strongest performer among major gainers, jumping 1.14% to $766.78. Dogecoin also saw a small increase of 0.37% to $0.09.

However, Avalanche plummeted 4.66% to $10.90, making it the worst performer of the evening and dragging sentiment across smaller-cap assets. Solana fell 0.92% to $117.96, adding pressure on the altcoin segment of the market.

XRP edged down 0.14% to $1.49, while Cardano declined by 0.08% to $0.24, with both recording only marginal declines that suggest limited conviction among sellers at current levels.
