Crypto Markets Plummet as Cardano Defies Downward Trend

Cryptocurrency markets have opened to a largely downbeat session, with most major digital assets trading lower. Bitcoin has fallen 1.34% to $63,016.98, while Ethereum declined more sharply by 2.87% to $1,864.90. Solana and Dogecoin also suffered losses, dropping 1.18% to $72.83 and 1.36% to $0.07 respectively.

The biggest loser among the tracked coins was Avalanche, which plummeted 3.57% to $6.33. However, XRP fared relatively better, decreasing by just 0.48% to $1.06.

Two assets bucked the trend and gained ground: BNB rose 1.67% to $580.01, while Cardano surged an impressive 7.12% to $0.17. This significant increase drew attention as the standout performer of the morning.
