Crypto Scams Get Smarter: Investors Urged to Watch Out

Crypto scams are becoming increasingly sophisticated as criminals combine phishing, impersonation, malware, and AI to target investors.

According to Chainalysis, crypto scams and fraud stole at least $14 billion in 2025 and could ultimately exceed $17 billion as more illicit addresses are identified.

AI-linked scams were found to be 4.5 times more profitable than traditional schemes.
