CryptoQuant CEO Predicts Bitcoin New Cycle, Sees Potential 3-5 Fold Rise
Ki Young Ju, CEO of CryptoQuant, believes the Bitcoin bear market has ended and a new cycle has begun.
In an interview on Bitcoin Magazine's BMTV program, Ki pointed to three key on-chain signals that support his view: the 365-day moving average of the Profit and Loss Index is nearing key turning points, indicating a new growth phase; inflows to Accumulation Addresses are rising, signaling new buyers entering the market; and the Market Value to Realized Value (MVRV) ratio is much lower than prior cycles, suggesting muted euphoric highs and moments of capitulation.
Ki also noted that the selling pressure from early investors, or OG whales, is easing, and large futures traders have rebuilt long positions near previous market bottoms.
The shift in Bitcoin's market structure is becoming more visible, with institutional players taking on greater influence, according to Ki. He emphasized that custodial flows have become a critical reference point, offering insight into how much institutional activity is influencing Bitcoin's landscape.
Ki expects a potential three to five-fold rise from recent lows, but warns that the identity of end buyers remains uncertain and that monitoring custodial flows is more informative than tracking ETF participant data.
The CEO concluded that three focal questions remain for market watchers: who is driving new purchases, who has stopped selling, and whether the influx of fresh capital will persist as the new cycle unfolds.
