Cryptos Firmly Above the Flatline Amid Middle East Geopolitical Tensions
The global cryptocurrency market has shown some resilience despite ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. Over the past 24 hours, overall crypto market capitalization has increased by a mild 0.66%, with Bitcoin trading with overnight gains of close to 1%.
The price movement comes amidst a spike in global bond yields and the greenback's retreat. Despite these macroeconomic factors, cryptocurrencies have shown some stability, with liquidation statistics from Coinglass indicating an increase in crypto liquidations aggregating to $162 million over the past day.
Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, is trading 0.91% higher at $63,567.82. The current price is around 50% below its all-time high of $126,198.07 recorded on October 7, 2025.
