Cyberleek Halts GTA 6 Leaks After Earning $268,000 Through Cryptocurrency

Share

A hacker known as Cyberleek has reportedly stopped his activities after leaking numerous Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay videos. The leak, which occurred just before the game's official presentation on Netflix, included sixteen gameplay videos and revealed the game's official map.

Cyberleek earned a total of $268,000 through his own cryptocurrency, with four transactions totalling this amount detected by GTAForums users. This could indicate that the hacker is shutting down their operations, meaning no more GTA 6 gameplay leaks are expected soon.

The leak was a significant blow to Rockstar, which had planned a low-key marketing campaign for the game. However, with the leak, fans have already gained a better understanding of what the game will look like.
