Cypherpunk Technologies Names Amanda Fabiano to Board Amidst Record-Breaking Mining Growth

Cypherpunk Technologies has welcomed Amanda Fabiano to its Board of Directors as the company expands its operations in Zcash mining. Fabiano, who serves as Chief Operating Officer of Nakamoto Inc., brings significant experience in institutional digital asset programs from her previous roles at Fidelity and Galaxy.

The appointment comes after Cypherpunk Mining launched a 4.2 GSol/s Zcash fleet in the U.S. in August 2026, which generated 3,023.13 ZEC between August 18 and August 31, 2026. The entire amount of mined rewards has been added to the company's corporate treasury.

Cypherpunk's entry into Zcash mining aligns with industry trends, as public mining companies and AI infrastructure firms saw a surge in net capital expenditures, reaching $30.7 billion by August 2026, surpassing 2025 levels.
