DeFi Platforms Soar as Top Protocols Reach New Revenue Highs
Decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms are experiencing a surge in revenue, with top onchain protocols reaching new weekly highs. Hyperliquid led the pack, pulling in $3.07 million in protocol revenue over a single 24-hour period and cementing its position as one of the highest-earning protocols outside of stablecoin issuers.
According to data tracked by DefiLlama, Hyperliquid's 7-day revenue total reached approximately $13.47 million. This figure translates to an annualized run rate north of $700 million.
The protocol's revenue engine runs almost entirely on perpetual futures trading, with nearly all eligible fees going towards HYPE buybacks and burns via the Assistance Fund.
Other top performers include StonkFun, Pump, and Pons, each hitting personal weekly revenue records. While these platforms operate in different spaces - token launchpad, memecoin launchpad, and DeFi, respectively - they share a common trait: consistent performance.
