Deribit and Coinbase Exchange Merge into Unified Trading Platform
Deribit, a cryptocurrency exchange established in 2016, has completed its integration with Coinbase International Exchange. The migration consolidates clients and liquidity on a single Deribit-powered platform, supporting trading across spot, options, perpetuals, and futures in crypto, equity, and pre-IPO markets.
The integration includes backend improvements, expanded product offerings, and access to spot markets. Deribit's existing user workflows are preserved, requiring no action from most users. However, technical changes such as updated API endpoints and a brief scheduled downtime on migration day are noted in the official documentation.
Deribit's platform features a browser-based TradingView terminal, mobile apps for iOS and Android, up to 50x leverage, various order types, and fixed, below-average commissions. The exchange offers trading in assets such as BTC, ETH, USDC, SOL, XRP, LUNA, and AVAX.
