Dogecoin Bulls Target $0.12 Breakout as Price Action Surges
Dogecoin is showing signs of life after a significant price rally in recent weeks. The cryptocurrency has gained 21% in one month, attracting renewed attention from traders and analysts.
Javon Marks highlighted bullish technical signals across multiple timeframes, including the formation of higher lows in Dogecoin's macro structure. He predicts that DOGE could be preparing for a major recovery and continuation move, potentially leading to a more than 555% rally above the $0.60 area.
Crypto chart analyst Ali Martinez agrees with Marks' assessment, but sees a shorter-term breakout opportunity. According to Martinez, Dogecoin has confirmed a breakout from a bullish flag on lower timeframes, projecting a move toward $0.12.
Rising derivatives activity and improving ETF flows have contributed to the momentum in DOGE's price action. CoinGlass data shows that Dogecoin open interest climbed to $1.35 billion on September 4, up from $1.26 billion a day earlier. However, higher long liquidations indicate continued volatility.
The combination of rising open interest and higher long liquidations suggests that traders are adding leveraged positions despite price swings punishing bullish bets. SoSoValue data shows spot Dogecoin ETFs recording $318,240 in net inflows during the month, reversing July's net outflows of $525,980.
