Dogecoin ETF Switches Pricing Benchmark as Remittix Prepares Community Event
The 21Shares Dogecoin ETF has undergone a significant change by switching to the FTSE Dogecoin Index as its pricing benchmark. This transition took effect on August 27 and will alter how the fund calculates its net asset value, but it won't change its underlying DOGE exposure or custodian.
The switch from the CF Dogecoin-Dollar US Settlement Price Index to the FTSE Dogecoin Index is an infrastructure change rather than a rebranding exercise. This move standardizes 21Shares products across the United States, Europe, and Australia.
Remittix, on the other hand, is preparing for its September 3 Community Event, which will feature limited supply Mystery Boxes with prizes worth up to $5,000. The project has raised $31.75 million toward a $36 million hard cap, with over 40,000 people participating in the presale.
The Remittix Community Event is separate from the RTX listing announcement, which will be triggered when the raise reaches $32 million. This development could bring attention to the project in close succession with the event.
