Dogecoin Rallies on ETF Inflows and Bullish Technicals
Dogecoin (DOGE) is showing continued strength, trading above $0.096 on Monday after finding support around its key 200-day exponential moving average (EMA). The meme coin's recovery is backed by sustained inflows into US-listed spot ETFs, which recorded $327,360 last week, marking the third consecutive week of positive inflows.
Data from SoSoValue highlights robust institutional demand, with the inflow trend suggesting further potential gains for DOGE. Derivatives metrics also support a bullish outlook, as CoinGlass’ long-to-short ratio for DOGE turned positive at 1.01 on Monday, indicating that traders are betting on rising prices. Additionally, Dogecoin’s funding rate flipped positive on September 10, reaching 0.0092%, a sign that longs are paying shorts.
Technically, Dogecoin remains bullish in the near term, holding above the 200-day EMA at $0.093. The 50-day and 100-day EMAs provide additional support between $0.086 and $0.088. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) near 58 suggests constructive momentum, while the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) has slipped slightly negative, hinting at a mild loss of upside pressure rather than a trend reversal.
On the downside, key support levels include the 200-day EMA at $0.093, followed by $0.088 and the 100-day EMA at $0.086. To the upside, initial resistance stands at $0.102, with a break above this level potentially extending the recovery phase.
