Dogecoin Surges with iOS Payments as Key Resistance Level Looms
Dogecoin has made significant strides in its move towards mainstream adoption with the addition of iOS payment support. This new feature allows users to make crypto payments on their iOS devices, improving the utility and usability of Dogecoin for everyday transactions.
The introduction of iOS payments coincides with Dogecoin's proximity to a crucial technical resistance level at $0.095. The cryptocurrency is currently trading at $0.09353, with a 24-hour volume of $601.78 million and a market capitalization of $14.60 billion.
Crypto analyst Ali Martinez notes that Dogecoin is consolidating within a descending triangle pattern, which is becoming increasingly compressed as the price approaches the apex. A four-hour close above $0.095 will confirm a breakout of the pattern, while failure to break through this level may lead to trading in the previous range.
The 200-day EMA has also been broken by Dogecoin, with the cryptocurrency showing signs of technical improvement despite remaining volatile.
